American mezzo-soprano Annie Reilly is the recipient of a UK Exceptional Talent Visa for her outstanding promise as an emerging young artist
Following training at the prestigious Royal Academy Opera in London in 2021, Annie has made debuts with the Royal Opera House Muscat, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, English National Opera (cover), Waterperry Opera Festival, Longborough Festival Opera and as an Alvarez Young Artist with Garsington Opera.
Highlights include Zerlina in the Sir Thomas Allen production of Don Giovanni (Scottish Opera), Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (co-production Royal Opera House Muscat & Teatro Carlo Felice Genoa), Niña Sola in the UK staged premiere of Ainadamar (Welsh National Opera, Scottish Opera), Second Lady in The Magic Flute (English National Opera cover, Royal Academy Opera), Dorabella in Così fan tutte (Royal Academy Opera, Nevill Holt Opera cover), Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro (Waterperry Opera Festival), and Helena in The Fairy Queen (Longborough Festival Opera). In concert, she has appeared as a soloist with the LA Phil, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and LSO Discovery in venues including the Barbican Hall and Philharmonie de Paris.
